About Rosamond Rea

Rosamond ("Roz") Rea is a retired museum professional who enjoys kayaking, hiking, historic research, and wooden jigsaw puzzle crafting. A graduate of the Cooperstown Graduate Program in Museum Studies, Roz worked at Woodlawn Museum as manager of the collections from 2000-2011. She also served on the Board of the Mount Desert Island Historical Society (MDIHS), temporarily filled the position of educator at MDIHS, and created and installed exhibitions for MDIHS. Roz also served as project manager for the Friends of the Islesford Historical Museum overseeing the creation and installation of exhibitions in Acadia National Park’s museum on Little Cranberry Island.
